Our Savior Preschool offers a wide variety of classes for 2 through 4 years old. Early drop-off and after-school-care are available for all students.  We are proud to have received a 5 star rating from The Quality Rating and Improvement System of Broward County.  The school is licensed by Broward County Bureau of Family Services.

Our Preschool implements the Creative Curriculum which is based on current scientific understanding of how children develop and learn.  We utilize approaches most likely to ensure children's success, and ways to address academic content appropriately.  Our teachers use a variety of approaches and take an active role in children's learning.

The pre-school operates on a half, and full day basis.  It promotes successful learning within a climate of discovery and hands-on experiences.  Academic subjects are introduced with theme-based and child centered activities.

Teachers

Teachers hold valid certifications, and are trained in CPR/First aide.  All of the teachers teach from a strong faith in Jesus Christ, and many of them are active members of Our Savior Lutheran Church.  Barbara Fisher, Donna Swift and Linda Root are all teachers who have been recognized by the Florida-Georgia District for the prestigious award of "Teacher of the Year".

Aids

Qualified aids are employed by the center to assist the teachers and staff the extended hour care.

• 4 Year Old VPK - 11:45 and Wrap Around 11:45 - 2:45

Registration Requirements

In order to register your child in OSLC Preschool the requirements must be met.

• Two to five year old
• Copy of birth certificate
• Immunization record (Form H680)
• Student Health Examination (Form HRS-H-3040)
• Registration fee
• Activity fee
• Prepaid PACE fee

Registration usually starts in February for the following school year. You may register at any time for an available opening. Due to the popularity of the preschool it is recommended that you register promptly in February.

VPK

Our Savior participates in the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK).  It is strongly recommended that you register with our school to hold a spot for your child in a VPK classroom.  When VPK vouchers are available through the county, you must bring it to school so your child is listed with the county as a VPK student at our school.
