"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

V.B.S. Vacation Bible School is held every summer for children from Our Savior and the community.  It is held for one week during the morning and is a great way to learn more about Jesus and His love.   It includes Bible Stories, games, crafts, and snacks!  This is a fun-filled week that shouldn't be missed!

CONFIRMATION is the time for young adults to reaffirm their baptismal vows.  The process takes two years, starting in the 7th grade.  The classes meet almost every Thursday from 6:30-7:30 PM.  The six chief parts of the Catechism are all covered during the two years along with a study of what it means to be Lutheran.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday school is held every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30 AM.  Children from toddlers through high school are welcome.  All children of God are invited to attend regardless of church membership or past religious upbringing.  From September-May the students are divided into age groups.  During the hour they learn about God's word by exploring, touching and discovering.  Each week they learn a Bible Story with the help of a loving and dedicated Sunday School teacher.

During the summer, Sunday School takes on a new approach as the classes are join into one and view Bible videos.

To help celebrate Jesus' Birth and Resurrection, Sunday School participates in a Birthday Party for Jesus, a Sunday School Christmas Service and an Easter Egg Hunt, which starts out with a special Easter Celebration!

NURSERY
Sunday mornings a nursery is open all morning for children from birth-3 year olds.   The nursery is staffed by warm, loving adults and teens who watch your children while you worship or attend Bible Class.  The nursery is located in Luther Hall.
