OUR SAVIOR LUTHERAN SCHOOL

	is a mission of Our Savior Lutheran Church, and sees itself as an instrument of the Gospel.
	has been serving the Plantation area since 1963
	is fully accredited through the National Lutheran Schools Association and the Florida Georgia District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
	is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families

WE PROVIDE

Christian Values:

Religion classes, Bible study, classroom devotions, worship experiences, service and outreach opportunities, and a Christ-centered curriculum

Basis Skills:

Language, Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Spelling.

Our school consistently scores above the national average on norm referenced teaching.

Technology:

Computer access for all children grades pre-K through eighth, on a regular basis, reinforcing academic skills and establishing proficiency in keyboarding and word processing.

Enrichment:

Music, art. P.E., Spanish, assemblies, and field trips.

Facility:

Secured and beautifully landscaped campus with two well equipped playgrounds, computer lab, and refurbished library.

Extended School Day Program

Supervised play, homework time, and special programs, for example, art, music, cooking, crafts, sports, and gymnastics.

Qualified Christian Staff

Homeroom teachers have a Bachelor's Degree, and preschool teachers have professional requirements.

Staff members are certified in C.P.R. and first aid.

Students entering Our Savior are placed according to age requirements, evidence of successful completion of previous programs, recommendations of professional staff, and/or performance on testing or screening procedures.

Class Size:

Ages 2 thru 5: at or below county recommendations,

Grades K thru 8: 26 students, with teaching assistants available.
